Transit Ridership Improvement Program (TRIP) Overview
The Transit Ridership Improvement Program gives employers direct incentives for offering pre-tax transit benefits to their employees.
New Employee Incentives:$30 for each employee who is new to using a company's pre-tax transit benefits program.
For each enrolled employee who spends $50 or more for commuting each month with pre-tax transit benefits, a company will earn $30.
New Employer Incentives: Up to $200 for implementing a pre-tax transit benefits program.
By enrolling in TRIP, employers can receive $200 when implementing a pre-tax transit benefits program for their employees. At least 5 employees must participate in the program to receive this incentive. This new employers incentive is in addition to the $30 per employee benefit.
